“About the House” offers an extensive look at household items that children will recognize. The areas and rooms of the house are beautifully depicted and act as a foundation for sorting, classifying, labeling and reading in context. The unlabeled picture cards help each child with language experience and classification, when named and sorted into their special place in the house. The three-part vocabulary cards are used later for reading and placing the labels under the object picture cards, then checking with the control.
